He holds a B.S. in Health Science Studies with a minor in Biochemistry from Baylor University. With a multidisciplinary foundation, Josh is passionate about leveraging science, innovation, and policy to advance global health equity and sustainable development.

He has worked as a sexual assault and human trafficking advocate, providing direct medical accompaniment and crisis support to survivors. His clinical experience spans both rural and suburban settings, where he has witnessed firsthand the disparities in healthcare access and outcomes. This exposure has deepened his commitment to improving health infrastructure in underserved communities.

Josh is especially interested in the role of biotechnology in sustainable development — including advancing low-cost diagnostics, promoting environmentally responsible medical innovation, and addressing the health impacts of climate change. He is eager to collaborate on cross-sector initiatives that bridge biotech, public health, and environmental justice to create scalable, equitable solutions
